Briarstone Trail Rides we
offer a 1 hour guided ride
through forests and
meadows to the top of a
beautiful scenic view for
groups of up to 7 riders,
so bring
your camera along.
These are not boring,
flat pasture, cow field
rides, but the trails
are safe and the horses
are friendly. We
are located just minutes
from Sam A. Baker
State Park, Clearwater Lake,
and Wappappello
Lake recreation
areas on Highway 34 near
Patterson, MO so a trail
ride at Briarstone is
easy to fit into your
vacation plans.
This
is
a family owned and
operated business and we
have to schedule rides
by reservation only.
This will usually be on
weekend days or late on
week day afternoons. The
rate is $20 per person
for a 1 hour ride.
Once your reservation is
made, you will need to
arrive about 20 to 30
minutes early in order
to fill out waivers and
get mounted, stirrups
adjusted, etc. We cater
specifically to Western
Pleasure trail
riding.
Rules:
 No running the horses
No smoking during the
ride.
Waivers must be filled
out.
No riders over 250
pounds (we have to look
out for the horses and
we won't allow more than
300 pounds per horse
including the saddle and
tack.)
Riders need to arrive at
least 20 minutes before
their ride is scheduled
to begin.
